The Beginning........

For many years I milled my own grain providing bread and sweets for my family and friends.  My passion for nutrition and baking led me to open my own business.  On January 4, 2007, your Great Harvest Bread Co. opened its doors.  Since then, we have been providing Rome with whole grain nutrition and a taste it has learned to love.  

Great Harvest Bread Co. is not a "chain".  We operate under a "Freedom Franchise."  "Freedom" means I make ALL the decisions, and can run my bakery in a manner that benefits everyone.  "Franchise" means that I have access to over 25 years of knowledge that has made Great Harvest hugely successful.  I am not a cookie cutter business, and there is no corporate control.  I run my own business myself with the help of a fabulous crew.     

Rome has been my home since birth.  I am a 3rd generation native "Roman", and have been raising my children here for the past 21 years.  I am thrilled to be able to provide my community with the best tasting bread and sweets - EVER!
